Carin V. Hopps, M.D. is currently a Fellow in Male Reproductive Medicine and Microsurgery at the Cornell Institute for Reproductive Medicine, and Department of Urology, Weill Medical College of Cornell University, as well as the Population Council, Center for Biomedical Research, located on the campus of Rockefeller University, under the guidance of Dr. Marc Goldstein and Dr. Peter Schlegel. She completed residency training in Urology at the Medical College of Ohio after obtaining her medical degree from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.Dr. Hopps is a recipient of the American Foundation for Urological Disease (AFUD) Health Council Research Scholarship for 2001-2003 as well as the Ferdinand C. Valentine Fellowship for 2001-2002. She was awarded a Research Fellowship at the Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology in Tübingen, Germany from 1990-1991. Dr. Hopps has presented at several meetings, both national and international, and is continuing contribution to the field of male infertility through ongoing research and publication. Her most notable adventure was reaching the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in 2001. |
